A budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végzett 1922-ben. Mesterei: Balló Ede, Pór Bertalan. A Kupeczky Társaság alapító tagja és alelnöke volt. 1933-1938 között Dél-Franciaországban és Monte Carlóban működött. 1924-től rendszeresen szerepelt a Műcsarnok kiállításain. Neves magyar festők műveiről készített másolatai széles körben ismertté tették
nevét.
