Fried Pál ( 1893 - 1976):
Festő. Budapesten, majd Párizsban tanult. Mestere: Poll Hugó. Az I. világháborúban Franciaországban fogságba került, öt év múlva szabadult. Végigjárta Észak-Afrikát, majd visszatért Budapestre. Keleti pasztelljeit a Műcsarnokban állította ki. 1932-ben gyűjteményes tárlat nyílt műveiből az Ernst Múzeumban. 1947-ben Amerikába hívták, a New York-i Képzőművészeti Főiskolán kapott tanári állást.
