Signed in the plate, signed in the stone, numbered in pencil in the bottom left-hand corner – limited edition of 300 copies (39/300), wearing the authenticity stamp of Donald Art Co. New York 1962.

In excellent condition (like new), has never been framed.

Edgar Degas was a French Impressionist artist famous for his pastel drawings and oil paintings. Degas also produced bronze sculptures, prints and drawings. Degas is especially identified with the subject of dance; more than half of his works depict dancers. He has been widely regarded as one of the most famous artists, alongside with Picasso, Warhol, Matisse, Magritte, Dali, Modigliani, Cezanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh and others.
