Zoltán Ludvig was born in 1953 in Csíkóstöttös.
In 1971, he graduated from the art school in Pécs, where he studied graphics.
After finishing school, he became a regular participant in regional and national exhibitions. He is a member of the art fund, the association of Austrian artists and the international association supporting modern artists. He is a regular participant of st. Antoni for the international artist colony.
His abstract, surrealist pictures lead to an organic "bio-world" that never existed, but still lives within us, and mostly associate the process of birth and creation, which is emphasized by coloring based on tones instead of many colors. With his pictures, he stirs something in our collective subconscious, some long-forgotten, never-learned experience that we all carry within us, the primordial state of living matter, the first cell's greedy will to live devoid of all awareness.
In addition to domestic exhibitions, he has also presented himself abroad. Udine, St. After Pölten, Nuremberg and Munich, he also achieved great success in Klagenfurt with his demanding works. Several of his works have already appeared on posters in Germany, which reflects his recognition abroad. In addition to painting, he also works with advertising graphics and interior design. Since 1999, he has been the organizer and artistic director of the famous ludvig international artist camp, which is held annually in Kendlimajor near Nagykanizsa.
