Gustáv Mallý was born on May 21, 1879 in Vienna, and died on August 3, 1952 in Bratislava. In 1894-1896 he studied in Prague at the private school of painter Záhorský, in 1896-1898 at the Prague school of applied arts (prof. Liška), in 1898-1900 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. Prof. Walter, bantzer, pohle).
