Ujváry Lajos (1925 - 2006): Festő. Tanulmányait a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán végezte 1961-ben. Mesterei Szőnyi István és Pór Bertalan voltak. A budapesti Képzőművészeti Gimnáziumban dolgozott rajztanárként 1952-től. Első kiállítása 1953-ban a Fényes Adolf Teremben volt. Szoros szálak fűzték Dombóvárhoz, ahol 2005-ben díszpolgárrá választották. Munkásságáért Munkácsy-díjjal tüntették ki. Több képe található a Magyar Nemzeti Galéria gyűjteményében.
