Festő. Művészeti tanulmányait 1886-tól Münchenben, Hollósy Simon magániskolájában, majd Párizsban, a Julian Akadémián végezte. Mesterei: Bouguereau, Rober-Fleury, Lefebvre. Főleg plelin air életképeket, tájképeket állított ki Budapesten. Sokáig élt Franciaországban, elsősorban Bretagne, Normandia motívumait festette. Itthon pedig a Balatont és Dömsöd környékét örökítette meg. Elnyerte a Képzőművészeti Társulat nagydíját. 1920-ban állami pasztelldíjat kapott. Párizsban 1950-ben tüntették ki. A Műcsarnokban állított ki 1907-ben, 1923-ban, 1928-ban. Művei a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában láthatók.
