Európába visszatérve, 1895-96-ban Münchenben Azbenél, 1897-98-ban Párizsban Colorossinál képezte magát. Hosszabb firenzei tartózkodás után Debrecenben és Budapesten tevékenykedett. Végül Pozsonyban telepedett le, ahol festőiskolát működtetett.
