SZALAI ZOLTÁN - Festő, grafikus. 1945-ben végzett a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán, mesterei Szőnyi István, Egry József, Kandó László és Rudnay Gyula voltak. 1939-től vesz részt kiállításokon, egyéni tárlatai mellett (Fényes Adolf Terem, Budapest Galéria, Székesfehérvár) voltak csoportos megjelenései is (Nemzeti Szalon, Ernst Múzeum, Műcsarnok, Vigadó Galéria). 1958-1980-ig az Iparművészeti Szakközépiskolában tanított. Művészetében erősen érezhető a nagybányai iskola hatása. Művei megtalálhatóak a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában, a székesfehérvári István Király Múzeumban.
