Festő, grafikus. 1938-ban végzett a Képzőművészeti Főiskolán, mestere Rudnay Gyula volt. Több helyen dolgozott rajztanárként, 1964-től a szegedi tanárképző főiskola docense volt. Több tanulmányutat tett külföldön. Egyéni kiállításai voltak országszerte (Szolnok, Miskolc) és csoportos tárlatok itthon és külföldön. Akvarelljeinek fő témája az alföldi táj és a tanyasi élet.
