What is bulk editor and how it works?

With the bulk editor, you can modify your products with a few clicks, either individually or in bulk by selecting multiple listings.

How can I edit my listings in bulk?

1. Go to the My items page
2. Select one or more of the items you want to edit by ticking the checkbox. Click on the "Select all" link to select all items.
3. On mobile, click on "Manage selected items" and then "Bulk edit", on desktop click on the "Bulk edit" drop down button.
4. Select what you want to edit. In the window that appears, you can edit the items all at once or one by one.
   You can switch between editing one by one and bulk editing by using the drop down menu next to 'This is how I edit the selected items:' in the window that appears.
5. Don't forget to save the changes you have made by clicking on "Save" in the window or "Done" when editing one by one.

What can I edit with the bulk editor?

Title and subtitle

• One by one
  - You can change the title and subtitle of the selected items one by one.
• In bulk
  - You can change the title and subtitle of the selected items at once.
  The title given here will be given to all items.

Tip for use: It can be useful if you sell more similar items, and the names of the listings differ only slightly. E.g., in case of numismatics, stamps of postcards. Change the selected items in bulk. Thereafter, one by one, you only have to enter the distinguishing text (e.g., serial number).

Price, offer option, quantity

• One by one
  - Fixed price listing: You can change the price and offer option - whether you accept offers for the item or not - of the items selected and the quantity, one by one.
  - Auction style listing: You can change the starting price, buy it now price and reserve price of the selected items one by one.
• In bulk
  - In case of fixed price listings, you can bulk change the price, offer option and quantity of the items selected, or the starting price, the buy it now price, and the reserve price in case of auction style listings.

Tip for use: If you would like to make all your fixed price listings open for offers, select “Add to every listing” at the offer option. Thus, on the page of the highlighted items, the “make an offer” button appears, allowing users to make an offer for your item.

Category

• One by one
  - You can change the category and item features of the selected items one by one.
• In bulk
  - You can bulk change the category and item features of the selected items.

Item description

• One by one
  - You can change the description of the selected items one by one.
• In bulk - Add text
  - With this feature, you can add text to the end of the item descriptions. It may be useful if you offer something to your customers within the framework of a temporary promotion.
  E.g.: In case of a purchase over 10,000 HUF, you will get a 10% discount from your next purchase.
• In bulk - Replace text
  - By this feature you can replace or remove expressions or entire text sections included in the item description.

Payment options

• One by one
  - You can change the payment options of the selected items one by one.
• In bulk
  - You can bulk change the payment options of the selected items.

Shipping templates

• One by one
  - You can change the shipping templates that the items are using one by one.
• In bulk
  - You can bulk change the shipping templates of the selected items.

More useful information

You may not be able to edit an option for a particular item. This is mostly in case of an auction style listing.
Changing an active auction listing depends on two factors:

• 1. How much time is left until the expiry of the auction
• 2. Whether there is a bid for the item

If the given option of a listing cannot be edited, the bulk editor will indicate this when you are making the change.
