1958-61: pécsi Tanárképző Főiskola, biológia-földrajz szak. 1961-től Sopronban tanított. Kollégiumi nevelő, majd rajztanár. Művészeti ismereteit önképzéssel szerezte. 1988-ban megyei alkotói díjat, 1990-ben Perényi Kálmán-díjat nyert. A Soproni Képzőművészeti Kör tagja és alelnöke. Szokatlan elhivatottság vezette a művészpályára. Évekig a Hanság mikrostruktúráinak képi ábrázolásával kísérletezett. Ezekből születtek miniatúrái, szürrealisztikus képallegóriái. Sajátos látásmódja érvényesül soproni tárgyú festményein, képgrafikáin is.
