What is the difference between regular and transactional conversation?

Message exchange conducted in connection with still available, not-yet-purchased items is considered regular message. The user can ask questions about the item or ask for information from the seller concerning the fee and method of shipping, or the payment method.

A transactional conversation is an exchange of messages conducted between the seller and buyer concerning an item purchased. Once the purchase takes place, i.e. the Purchase button on the item page is clicked, and the buyer has purchased the item in accordance with the rules of Galeria Savaria, the partners can start a so-called transactional conversation through the notification sent by Galeria Savaria. In a transactional conversation, partners can discuss the details of takeover of and payment for the item purchased.
It is important, however, that the transactional conversation may only concern the item purchased. If you as a buyer find further items in the item range of the seller that you are interested in, you can inquire about the item on the item’s page of the given item and you can only ask about further details after the purchase.

The fact that you are participating in a transactional conversation is clearly indicated to you and your partner. Here you can also provide data that is possible only if the conversation is about an already purchased item.

If you find it necessary, you can ask for further contact details of the partner (e.g. email address, phone number) after the purchase. You can do this on the Purchased items page, by clicking on the More actions drop-down menu.
However, we recommend that you discuss further details of the transaction after the purchase through the safe messaging system of Galeria Savaria. Thus you will not only find the transaction-related messages in one place but you can also ask for the assistance of our customer support if you meet any difficulties during the transaction.
As 21 days are available to arrange a transaction, it is possible to write a new message to the transactional conversation for a period of 45 days after the sale. After 90 days from the sale, the transactional conversation will not be available.
