Shill bidding

You cannot place a bid for your own item. In addition to this, the seller cannot ask any of their agents, relatives, or acquaintances to bid on their own item.
We call it shill bidding, which is strictly forbidden at Galeria Savaria.

Shill bidding can artificially increase the sales price of the item. We recommend that you sell your items according to the rules of Galeria Savaria. A violation may result in the limitation of your purchasing and selling rights or the permanent limitation of your user account.

If a buyer can be linked to the username of the seller but they really want to purchase the item, they can do it with the buy it now price, at a fixed price, so they do not have to participate at the auction.
