The bidder wants to cancel a bid. What can I do?

A bidder may change their mind or bid by mistake. In such cases, the bidder may send a bid cancellation request to the seller.

Cancellation can only be requested for the highest bid.

The seller can decide whether to accept a bid cancellation request.

If a bidder requests a bid cancellation we send you a notification.
You will be able to reply to the bid cancellation request on the Bid history page of the auction. In the notification, you will also find a direct link to the bid cancellation request.

By canceling the bid, the previous bid - if there was one - will be the winning bid.
A bid cannot be canceled 24 hours before the end of the auction.
If the cancellation affects an automatic bid too, it can significantly affect the result of the auction, therefore, in such a case a bid cancellation request cannot be sent.
