An unverified buyer has purchased from me - what does this mean?
We are committed to make Galéria Savaria a trusted marketplace. Therefore, for all account registered after 14 June 2023, among other functions, we have made it compulsory to complete a security registration for purchases.
By signing up at Galeria Savaria, all users get a limited buyer status. For the activation of the registration, we always send a confirmation email to the email address specified by the user, verifying that the email address is real.
After the registration, we draw the attention of users to the fact that it is worth performing the security registration, as this way they can become full users of Galeria Savaria and sellers will be more confident to do business with them.
We limit the scope of features available to limited buyers, together with the number of items they can purchase. A user with limited status cannot sell on Galeria Savaria, and the user may only purchase up to 3 items.
After the purchase - unlike for verified users - we will provide the opportunity to contact each other exclusively at the secure interface of Galeria Savaria, through the transactional messaging, thus for an unverified buyer, the email address and phone number of the partner will not be available. It is at the seller’s discretion to decide what kind of data they wish to provide to the partner, but the seller can even ask the buyer to perform the security registration.
As a seller, you can narrow the number of buyers you want to make a deal with. If you decide to only allow verified users to purchase, our system makes it possible to set this.
