What is the basis for judgement in controversial cases?
In the previous rating system, both users left feedback in case of an unsuccessful transaction, which, in many cases, gave a controversial, distorted picture of the users. These controversial reviews were not to the benefit of the community, and the innocent user was left alone with the unjust feedback on their profile page, worsening their chances of future purchases and sales.
In the new rating system, in case of controversial feedback, users can request the assistance of a dedicated team to review the case.
In such cases, for the decision we may consider additional factors that are not public to other users. These additional factors help to make a fair decision in case of controversial reviews.
Which factors are taken into consideration by Galeria Savaria in controversial cases?
- the description provided by the users on the cause of the failure and the files attached during the review
- internal messages
- the history of the user, e.g. whether the user has had any problematic cases, and if yes, whether the user has handled the situation with an appropriate attitude
- whether there were any transactions that failed due to the user’s fault
- the number of failed transactions the user participated in
