Avoiding feedback by canceling a transaction

We consider it important for buyers to gain a positive shopping experience when they purchase on Galeria Savaria. This is also in the interest of sellers, as this is how a buyer can become a recurring customer. For this reason, we have developed a rating system that monitors the performance of sellers.

If a transaction failed due to the seller’s fault, the seller can choose from two options.

  1. You can submit a feedback on the failed transaction, by which we log the reason for the failure
  2. You can cancel the transaction to avoid failed feedback

If a transaction is cancelled, the mark of the failed transaction will not appear on the seller’s profile page, and we will not record the score for the unsuccessful transaction.

At the same time, the cancellation of the transaction involves charging of the commission. By this, we would like to give sellers the opportunity to continue selling their items without any “penalty scores”, but we would also like to encourage them not to disappoint their customers in the future.

How to delete a transaction as a seller?

  1. Go to Sold items
  2. Click on More actions on the transaction you wish to delete and choose Rate transaction
  3. Choose no for Was the transaction completed?
  4. Choose the reason of the failure. Cancel transaction is available for the following options: The item was damaged / lost / sold somewhere elseThe transaction failed because of other reasons
  5. Click on Cancel transaction and confirm the cancellation

The transaction of an auction with a starting price of 1 HUF cannot be cancelled.

You can't cancel a successful, but problematic transaction. If the seller cancels such an item, it will be restored.

Cancellation can be used up to 3 times in a calendar year.
