We would like to provide a platform to our community for purchases and sales that users like and where they can enjoy doing business.

Below we have collected how you as a buyer should take care to avoid the failure of a transaction due to your fault.

The buyer fails to reply / fails to pay for the item / keeps delaying the takeover

If a buyer does not contact the seller concerning the item purchased and withdraws from the purchase without any well-founded reason, they fail to fulfill their basic obligations as a buyer. It is annoying if a buyer purchases the item but eventually fails to take it over.

As a buyer, it is important for you to know that Galeria Savaria is not just a traditional advertising page with the only feature to provide opportunity to sellers to advertise their items. Sellers may restrict purchases for users who have not taken over their purchased items. Therefore, we recommend that you only buy an item if you can take it over. Otherwise, it may happen that you may not be able to purchase a desired item in the future.

As the buyer of Galeria Savaria, we ask you to:

  • purchase the item only if you can pay for and take over it within a reasonable time
  • always contact the seller before purchasing if, due to other duties, you are only able to complete the transaction later

The partner does not like the item and has changed their mind

On our online marketplace, you have many opportunities to clarify any questions you may have before the purchase. You can ask about the item, specify the terms of payment and shipping, or you can ask the seller to upload further pictures or attach them in a message.

As a buyer of Galeria Savaria, please:

  • ask the seller before the purchase if you have any questions
  • collect information about the payment and shipping methods accepted by the seller

When rating a failed transaction, the user must indicate the reason of the failure. If, as a buyer, you are unable to fulfill the conditions of the transaction, our system will log that the transaction failed due to the buyer’s fault.

By logging, we record a mark of a failed transaction on the buyer’s profile page, and based on the cause of the failure, we assign the score of a failed transaction to their account.

As this feedback is public to everyone, others will also see it on your profile page.

If, according to the interpretation of our rating system, within a specific period, transactions have failed several times due to a buyer - particularly in case of transactions of higher value -, or if the score of the user received due to their failed transactions exceeds the threshold, we will limit their account , which will not allow new registrations to be started either.

Thanks to the score of unsuccessful transactions, sellers can determine who is allowed to purchase from them.

We're sorry if we have to say goodbye to a user. However, as an online marketplace, our goal is to help our sellers and buyers to as many successful transactions as possible.
